About me
My name is Elena, I am an ecologist and my research focuses on the study of plant-animal interactions. I am interested in how mutualistic interactions co-evolved, how they shape the community and their consequences on ecosystem functioning.
With a combination of fieldwork, molecular tools, network theory and other approximations we can understand the role and importance of these interactions and the strategies that species and individuals follow to subsist.
Currently I am Post-Doc researcher at the Universidad de Sevilla (Spain) in the MAYBE-Lab in a project working to understand the origin(s) of biotic seed dispersal.
